Serena Hotel in Dushanbe
The BATT-Stroyinvest, a subsidiary company of the construction division of BATT Corporation, acting as the general contractor, had built an absolutely new five-star hotel of the Serena hotel chain in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.
The project had been funded with a support of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development.
The hotel was inaugurated on 1 November 2011 in the presence of the President of Tajikistan, TH’s Princes Rahim and Amin.
The five star hotel with total area of 13,050 sq. meters includes:
85 rooms and 10 service apartments, 2 restaurants, a bar and a tea room, 3 shops, a business center, 4 conference rooms, a banquet hall, a swimming pool and a garden on the 9th floor, a spa complex -premises including a gym and 2 saunas.
The hotel is fully equipped with an independent electrical substation and a diesel generator, its own heating and air conditioning system, and a water reservoir.
The total cost of the project was
USD 45 mln.
